Name of the dish only says what it is !! “Hara” means “green” “bhara” means “filled” and “kabab” means “cutlets”.
So this is the snack that is filled with the goodness of green or spinach and one of the nutritious snack for your diet.
The process of making this kebab is quick, simple and delicious. 😊
- Spinach – one cup
- Green peas – 1/2 cup
- Ginger paste – 1tsp
- Green chilli – 5 to6
- Parsley – 1/2 cup
- Coriender leaves – 1/2 cup
- Boiled potatoes – 4
- Chaat masala – 1tsp
- Cumin/jeera powder – 1/2 tsp
- Coriender powder – 1tsp
- Bread crumbs – 1 cup
- Corn flour – 1/2 cup
- Lemon juice – 3tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Oil- 10tsp
Add 1 ltr of water to a pan, add salt, add spinach and green peas to the pan. Sauté them well for 5min.
Drain the water and keep them aside to cool.
After that put the mix in a grinder, add green chilli, parsley, coriander, mint leaves.
Grind them all to a thick paste.
Now in a bowl mash the boiled potatoes, add salt, ginger paste, chaat masala, corn flour and bread crumbs and lemon juice. Later add the paste that was blended in mixer.
Mix them well to get a stiff dough or else kebab will turn soft and soggy inside.
Next heat the tawa, add oil ( here I’m doing shallow fry, if you want you can do deep fry)
Shape the kebab into rounds patties or oval (as per your wish)
Fry the kebabs till golden brown.
Serve Hot Hara Bhara Kebab with green chutney or tamato sauce.
