Moong/green gram sprouts salad

When it comes to diet food .. sprouts are at the first place, because it is tasty as well as very healthy.

You can have this any time in a day.. like mid-day snack or even for breakfast.

People do this in many ways, you can add pamegranate, onions, tamoto and even fried potatoes.

But here I’m sharing just an simple way.

All you need is bit patience, because green gram need some time to sprout and once it’s sprouted we have a quick salad.


  1. Moong/green gram 200grms
  2. Chopped cucumber half cup
  3. Chopped coriander 2 tsp
  4. Grated carrots half cup
  5. Green chillies 2
  6. Lemon juice 1tsp
  7. Chaat masala (optional)
  8. Shredded coconut (optional)
  9. Salt


First to get green gram sprouted you have to soak them for 5 to 6hrs.

After that drain the water and in a cotton cloth tight all the soaked moong beans and keep that in some hot place (even u can pre heat oven for one min and keep inside over night )

When it’s done morning you can see the sprouts. Usually getting sprouts is very easy in summer then winter.

Now combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well, adjust your seasoning.

And enjoy the salad😊 you will get crunchy on every bite .. 💙
