Well, my sunday was boring this week. So finally i make up my mind to bake something yumm in the evening.
And that is Sweet, soft and juicy Raspberry Crumble Bars.
They taste amazing and quick bars to make.
I’m pretty sure you are going to love these too !!
Ingredients for crust
- Oats 100grams
- All purpose flour 3tsp
- Brown sugar 5tsp
- Butter 200grams salted
- Salt half tsp
- Baking powder 1tsp
Ingredients for Raspberry filling
- 400grams Raspberry
- Half cup sugar
- 2tsp of all purpose flour
- 1tsp cornstarch
- One lime juice
Preheat the oven for 350 degrees.
Take the respberry in a large bowl add sugar , cornstarch, all purpose flour and lime juice mix well, and keep aside for a while so that it turns juicy like a consistency.
And for crust mix the oats, flour, sugar, baking powder, melted butter and little salt mix well together to get a crumble like mixture.
Now take the 9*13 pan lined with parchment paper, then press the mixed crust into the bottom about half of the inch . And bake for 10min.
Then take out and arrange the raspberry layer on top of the baked bottom layer, sprinkle with remaining crumble, then bake for 30min.
Then remove from the oven, cut them into bars and leave them to set up for few hours to get really solid.
Tips : draining the respberry is important for getting the bars to firm and juicy. When thawing the berries you can gently squeeze.
Chilling is very important once you take out from the oven.
You can try with any of the berries that you like .
