Baked Methi leaves Crackers

My husband most of the time cycle to the office, so once he is back he will be completely hungry, and these days we are stopped eating oil fried snacks, so that means it’s time for me to explore indian snacks in oven.

And we all know how much methi(Fenugreek leaves) are good for the health.

So today I’m sharing the simple,easy snack using fresh methi leaves that combined with whole wheat flour.


  1. One and half cup wheat flour
  2. Half or quarter cup of chopped Fenugreek leaves
  3. Half tsp turmeric powder
  4. One tsp red chilli powder
  5. Half tsp cumin powder
  6. oil
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Water to make dough


Take all the ingredients in a mixing bowl with 3tsp of oil, and add little by little water and make to stiff dough.

Cover and keep the dough to rest for 15min, meanwhile pre heat the oven for 180 degree Celsius for 5min.

Now take the small portion of the dough and roll it like a small poori’s or take a large portion of a dough and roll it like a chapati and cut it like a small poori’s using a cookie cutter.

Make sure the crackers are thin because we are baking the them.

Grease the baking try with little oil and place the rolled crackers and prick them with the fork.

Now bake the crackers into 180 degree Celsius for 10 to 15min. Once it’s baked take out from the oven and leave it for 10min then the crackers will turn crisp.

You can store thin in air tight container for 2 weeks.

Note : Adjust the chilli powder to your spice level.
